Requesting a Rescore

If you wish to have your written responses to the MN NES EAS Writing subtest reevaluated, you may request a rescore of this section of your subtest. There is a fee of $55 for this service.

If you wish to have your written responses to the Basic Skills: Writing subtest reevaluated, you may request a rescore of this section of your subtest. There is a fee of $75 for this service.

There is no rescoring service for the constructed-response sections of the World Language and Culture subtests. There is no rescoring service available for multiple-choice answers to any test.

To request a rescore. A request for rescoring must be made in writing and must include your name, the last five digits of your social security number, the test date, and the subtest name. Mail your request and payment to Evaluation Systems.

Payment must be made by personal check, cashier's check, or money order. Your written request and the correct payment must be postmarked within three months of the score report date.

Resolution. In the event that the rescoring process results in a change in passing status, you will be issued a corrected score report, the rescoring fee will be refunded, and your records will be updated. If the original score is confirmed, you will be sent a letter indicating that the score has been confirmed. In this case, your rescoring fee will not be refunded.
