World Language and Culture: French (Grades K–12)
The World Language and Culture examinations are offered only on computer, as of fall 2013. Registration is now open.
The World Language and Culture: French (Grades K–12) examination includes two subtests. Candidates must take and pass both subtests to qualify for a Minnesota license in this field. Passing this test satisfies the testing requirement for both the K–12 license and the K–8 endorsement.
Computer-based test (CBT); multiple-choice questions and constructed-response assignments
Subtest 1: 100 multiple-choice questions
Subtest 2: 2 presentational writing assignments, 2 presentational speaking assignments
Subtest 1: 120 minutes
Subtest 2: 90 minutes
Set by Minnesota Board of Teaching; examinees must pass both subtests.
