World Language and Culture: German (Grades K–12)
The World Language and Culture: German (Grades K–12) examination includes two subtests. Candidates must take and pass both subtests to qualify for a Minnesota license in this field. Passing this test satisfies the testing requirement for both the K–12 license and the K–8 endorsement.

Computer-based test (CBT); multiple-choice questions and constructed-response assignments
- Subtest 1: 100 multiple-choice questions
- Subtest 2: 2 presentational writing assignments, 2 presentational speaking assignments

Subtest II: 1 hour and 45 minutes total appointment time
