Elementary Education (Grades K–6)
The Elementary Education (Grades K–6) examination includes three subtests. Candidates must take and pass all three subtests to qualify for a Minnesota license in this field. Computer-based test (CBT)
- Subtest 1, Reading, Communication Arts: 50 multiple-choice questions
- Subtest 2, Mathematics, Health/Fitness and Fine Arts: 50 multiple-choice questions
- Subtest 3, Science, Social Studies: 50 multiple-choice questions

- 15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement
